Hand Crafted

At Plump Berries Distillery, our own hands do the work. From picking the fruit and fermenting, to distilling the product, and bottling.

We describe our wines, spirits, and liqueurs as ‘utilitarian artisan’—made with skill and care for the simple purpose of enjoying a great drink.

Single Origin

Our fruit wines, ferments and spirits all originate from our small farm—grown and made on site. We do not use bulk factory made ethanol.

The spirit used is made by us on-site. For most products we double distil the wine wash. The first distillation is a stripping run in our pot still, and the second distillation is a spirit run in our reflux still.

We are committed to crafting our spirits and liqueurs using what we have—well aged fruit wines and fruit that we have grown ourselves.

Nano Batch

We are too small to call ourselves a micro-distillery.

Our very small batches are most honestly explained by the very small stills we use to produce our products—there are no big flashy boilers here!

The size of our distillery matches the size of our farm—we are all about quality over quantity.

Limited Release

Our nano batch approach enables us to experiment and produce special, never to be repeated products. Each batch is unique. You’ll only enjoy the same tastes once!

Distilled products are crafted using a combination of naturally variable ingredients.

Diversity is a core feature of our natural farming philosophy, and we’re carrying it over into our distillery.

Fundamentally Fruity

We grow exceptional quality fruit for our spirits and liqueurs using a soil first regenerative approach, without the use of any biocides (fungicides, pesticides, or herbicides) or chemical fertilisers (see how we grow).

This means that there are no agri-chemical residues in our fruit infused products.

Big Fruity Flavour

We distil our base spirit to just under 93% to provide hints of the fruit ferment.

We use generous amounts of our best quality fruit when infusing and don't filter or add ingredients - so you get the natural colour, texture and flavour.

The robust and natural fruit flavour in our spirits and liqueurs goes a long way, making them perfect with a simple mixer or in a cocktail.

Eco-Minded Packaging

Our glass bottles are lightweight and this reduces resources embedded in their manufacturing and transportation.

Our labels are made from paper and linen rather than plastics. We hand write the contents of every label, which means we don’t have wasted left over labels for any batch.

We often reuse packaging materials when we hand bundle your bottles up for delivery.
